How it works
- You create an event and print or share its QR code.
- A guest scans it. The camera opens straight away, with a limited roll of shots, just like a real disposable camera.
- Every photo is screened automatically before anyone sees it.
- Screened photos appear in a shared gallery your guests can browse the same evening, and land in a folder in your Google Drive.
The part people miss
The photos are yours. They go to your Drive, in a folder named after your event. Papped never keeps a copy to hold over you, and there is no platform to export from later.
That is the whole difference between Papped and an upload app. An upload app collects whatever guests already had on their phones. Papped gets you photos that would not exist otherwise, taken in the moment, at your event.
Why a limited roll
Every guest gets a set number of shots. It sounds like a restriction; it is the point.
A guest with unlimited uploads dumps their camera roll. A guest with ten shots looks around the room and picks. That is why disposable cameras at weddings produce better photos than a shared album ever does.
